Old Town Pittsburgh Summer Events

There’s almost always something to enjoy in Old Town Pittsburg. There’s so much to enjoy with your family and friends. Here’s a rundown of some of the fun activities coming up this summer.

Off the Grid: Friday nights are for food trucks! Head to John Buckley Square (on Railroad Avenue between 5th & 6th Streets) delicious food truck grub, a beer and wine garden provided by Lucky 13 and live music.

Pittsburg Farmers Market: Every Saturday at John Buckley Square. The market is open from 9AM-1PM until October 7th. Visit for your choice of the season’s freshest fruits and vegetables. Summer means stone fruits, summer squash, sweet berries and tomatoes!

Pittsburg Car Show: Pittsburgh’s Car Show is back for another summer season of cars, music, and special attractions! Head down to Railroad Avenue (between 6th and 3rd Streets) from 6-8PM to view the show. Check out the schedule for the live entertainment and featured car club.

Wine & Art First Fridays: Enjoy California wines, local craft beer, live music, and an art walk from local artists at Pittsburg’s beautiful Marina. The next First Friday event is September 1st from 5:30-9PM.

Movies in the Park: Grab some lawn chairs, blankets, and your favorite snacks for a free movie screening at John Buckley Square. This week’s movie is Aladdin (in Spanish) begins at dusk. The final movie of the season with be Smurf’s: The Lost Village showing on August 25th.

Jazz, Blues, and Funk Fest: Enjoy a day of jazz, blues and funk at the Pittsburg Marina on August 26th. Bring the family to this free full-day music festival and be sure to arrive early for choice seating areas (bring your lawn chairs and blankets. And don’t forget the sunscreen!).
