PITTSBURG, CA. –Pittsburg families enjoyed a warm dinner and coat, scarf, hat and gloves this holiday season thanks to the generosity of Discovery Homes. For the tenth year in a row, Discovery Homes upheld their tradition of donating and distributing food to those who have less than most during the Holiday Season. On Christmas Eve, Discovery Homes’ volunteers passed out Turkey dinners, with traditional side dishes, beverages and dessert as well as warm coats, hats, gloves, scarves, and other goods to families in need. The items are donated as part of the Discovery Homes Gives Back program, a program that aims to give back to communities in a way that is tailored to specific neighborhood needs. These year was extra special as we had some of our employees younger family members join us as we gave back to the community!
